In 2015, we decided to leave a comfortable life in the Paris region to take on a new challenge, to make our dream come true: to have our own hotel.
Philippe was a construction manager in the building industry. The hours spent in traffic jams and the stress associated with this Parisian life were the trigger for this change of life.
Patricia was an executive assistant. Originally from Saint-Malo and having grown up in the hotel business, the return to Brittany was a very strong desire.
In 2015, the opportunity to take over Hôtel des Abers presented itself. It was necessary to set up a market study, draw up a business plan, sell the house and find the bank interested in this project. Within a few months, everything was completed!
Supported by Sarah, our daughter, a webmarketing specialist, in charge of digital communication and Sébastien, her partner, a web developper based in Montreal, the team is completed by 2 seasonal workers to clean the rooms.
Since 2015, the hotel has found its cruising pace and each season is a new adventure shared with a clientele of passing holidaymakers or regulars from all over the world…
