The Small Cabins, as we like to call them, have just been renovated. They are located at the back of the hotel, away from urban noise. Only the song of the gulls could punctuate your sleep!
Our two Cabin rooms are equipped with a television with a wide choice of channels (available in several languages), a minibar and a courtesy tray with kettle, coffee and tea.
Cabin n°1, equipped with a Queen Size bed has a bathtub, while Cabin n°2, equipped with a Queen Size bed or 2 twin beds, has a shower room. In each bathroom, you will find towels and toiletries.
The two rooms are located side by side and have a common entrance, making them ideal for families with children.
Cancellation is free up to 2 days before your arrival.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your arrival, the amount of the first night will be charged.
I stayed in the Hotel des Abers both on my way to the pink granite coast and on my way back through Saint Malo at the end of my trip. Both times, the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the owners went out of their way to be helpful and kind. The location is perfect too, right in the heart of the old city, and a short walk to everything (beach, restaurants, tourist office, etc.). I highly recommend this hotel! P.S. Their dog, Bijou, is super cute.
We chose Hotel Des Abers based on the reviews and my wife and I were not disappointed, the reception and assistance we received was excellent and we were made very welcome. The hotel is a character hotel, as we wanted, very close to everything. It was immaculately clean, tidy well decorated, etc. We will definitely stay here when we return
Sometimes everything just seems to fall into place. Traveling through Normandy and Brittany with another couple, our travel agent recommended St Malo and Hotel des Abers and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Patricia and Philippe were wonderful (and incredibly hard working) hosts – along with Bijou and the turtles, of course – the walled city was charming in every way, the ramparts allowed for stunning walks (to include a low tide trek to the islands)… Would love a chance to come back.
The Superior Rooms are very bright thanks to their location with street views. They are spacious and can be equipped with an extra bed.
The Comfort Rooms are located on the top floor of the hotel. Full of charm, they are attic and have a shower room.
The Standard Rooms are very cosy. They have a view of an inner courtyard, which makes them particularly quiet.
